We are a team devoted to promoting the happiness, health, and comfort of each resident. Our focus is to provide an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and at home. Our staff ensures that every individual receives proper attention, whether it’s help with daily activities, companionship, or specialized medical care. At Maycee Kids, we truly believe in personalized, compassionate service. At Maycee Kids Health Care, we are more than an assisted living facility, we are a dedicated community committed to the well-being of our residents. Founded on the principles of passion, empathy, and genuine care. We believe in enriching the lives of those we serve with a unique approach we call “The Art of Caring.”
Initial Moments
We take pride in providing an individualized plan of care to all of our patients. In order to truly provide an individualized plan of care for each patient, we use the first seven days of care to figure out this plan.
We meet with the skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, patient, and family to ensure that we are aligning services so that it is truly a joint plan of care.
Individualized Plan of Care
At Maycee Kids Health Care, we focus on creating an individualized plan of care for our patients and families. We recognize that Maycee Kids care should help support patients and families. We provide visits up to seven days or weeks and we don’t limit visits. Patients deserve more than just a few visits each week. Our goal is to enhance the patient and family’s quality of life, no matter how much time they have left.
We Honor Veterans
The “We Honor Veterans” program focuses on hospices learning how to accompany and guide our veterans through their life stories toward a more peaceful end of life. The goal is to care for and honor those who have served when they reach the end of life. By working through partner levels and participating in community collaborations, hospice organizations are able to educate, engage, and expand awareness to veterans and their families. A vast majority of veterans are not enrolled in the VA and may not be aware of the end-of-life services and benefits available to them, including the Medicare Hospice Benefit and VA-paid hospice care.
